Evita Ziemele

Evita Ziemele is a Latvian artist based in Manchester, UK at Rogue Artists Studios. She graduated with First Class Honours from Salford University in 2022 and has since exhibited her works across Greater Manchester and Japan. With her own unsettling visual language developed through wearable sculpture which distorts the body, she creates conversations on themes of trauma & body dysmorphia. Her imagery references mythologies and historical paintings but subverts the stories to create space for the female narrative to be told.
